(OOC: No problem.)
Marthus logged back into his home with a deep inhale, glad to be back. "There," he concluded simply. "I trust things went well. How do you feel, Atori?" he checked on the Half Hearted.

Marthus smirked with satisfaction, touching the girl's forehead with the back of his hand to check her temperature. "Good," he answered simply. "Though I still don't understand how exactly this happened to you."

"I doooo." Aecusim mumbled under his breath with his eyes closed. "Hey Marthus!" The blademaster said to get his friends attention. "One question. How did you get that freaky gun/sword thing?" Aecusim got up and leaned against the wall with a tired smile.

"I made it," Marthus answered simply. "Now, it seems like you had something to say a moment there," he countered with a knowing smirk.

"What exactly are you implying?" He smirked trying to hold back a laugh.

Marthus smirked triumphantly, but held his recent confirmation to himself. "You know something about Atori's condition," he answered somewhat vaguely, the sky blue scarf wrapped around the lower half of his face concealing his current expression.

"What ever gave you that idea!" the blademaster exclaimed and turned around. 'This is funny!" Aecusim thought to himself.

Marthus smirked. "And here I thought you had Atori's best interests in mind."

"All that I'm saying is...!" He walked closer to Marthus. "Can I tell you this in secret?" He whispered under his breath to Marthus.

Marthus nodded slowly. "If you must, use flash mail," he added level-headedly, in a voice low enough for only Aecusim to hear. He had to admit, this wasn't as subtle as he usually was, but then again, the day had already turned the rest of his normal routine upside-down anyhow.

"Well Flash Mail would take too long soo..." Aecusim cleared his throat. "I think she likes you. I know it sounds preposterous but don't hurt me!" Aecusim backed away and made a mid bowing gesture.

Marthus caught on quickly, Aecusim's statement adding to his own suspicions. "Observe what you will," he answered simply, his expression both troubled and concerned for a brief moment before shifting again. "Now, on to other matters: Aecusim, your actions toward Rika today were noteworthy. What causes your loathe for PKs?" he inquired in his usual professional, stoic tone.

"Ahhh," He said with a smile. "I was hoping you would ask that. But First comes first Why do you need to know?" He grinned as he sat back to the floor.

Marthus grinned with satisfaction. "You're being careful with what you say," he observed, "Good. I like that." He paused, his acute ruby eyes shifting toward the Blademaster's. "As for why I want to know... Let's just say 'a sculptist must know his clay'." His knowing smirk was hidden beneath the sky-blue scarf as he hoped the PKK would catch on to his metaphor.
